The Wii was in perfect condition and I received it very quickly. I was looking in all the stores to find a Wii and after all that all i had to was spend 4min on Amazon.

Well, I have to admit that I was one of those people who REFUSED to read this series out of principle. This series had so much buzz around it- girls in their teens through twenties were swooning over a fictional bad boy, going to midnight book releases, dressing as brides and drawing bite marks on their wrists when attending twilight functions. This craze was rivaling Star Wars, and I refused to join in. While away for a four night trip to Canada with a few friends, a friend of mine spent every minute of our time in the hotel glued to this book. After gushing over the characters and describing the premise to me, I was intrigued enough to buy Twilight- in paperback- to read on an upcoming trip to Florida. I started the book the morning of my departure (6pm flight) and got through more than half of it before 1 pm. I made a pit-stop on my way to the airport at the local book store and picked up New Moon. For three days and three nights I was so involved in Twilight and New Moon (yes I even got through half of New Moon while away!) that I barely noticed the scorching sunburn I had acquired! **I have since repurchased the entire series in hardcover so that they would last my reading and re-reading!**

To give everyone an idea of my interests- my favorite shows are Veronica Mars, Roswell, Sex and the City, Buffy (the early years) Entourage, and Friends, and my book favorites are the chick lit of Emily Giffin, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and The Time Travelers Wife.

This book has it all!

The previous reviews pretty much sum up the premise of this book, so I will not get too carried away repeating a synopsis that has been rehashed a thousand times (literally!)

I will leave you with one last thought-
1. Don’t read this book because it’s such a “hit” or the new “craze”.
2. Don’t NOT read thi

For Perl beginners, this book is significantly more readable than the O’Reilly texts — I would like to have seen even more exercises throughout, though.

Overall, a good springboard to a more in-depth text, such as the Wrox title “Beginning Perl”. I deducted one point for a few minor (but annoying) typographical errors – this book needed one more pass by the technical editor. C programmers will quickly recognize the typos, but these could confuse some beginners.

Also, this book covers the Perl DBI using the PostgreSQL database. Installing PostgreSQL is awkward on Windows, yet many beginning Perl developers probably use Windows. The Wrox book “Beginning Perl” makes the more logical choice of using the MySQL database, which is simpler to install and use on Windows (and also runs on most Linux/Unix platforms).

What did I just say? Awesome! Okay, the heart rate function, if you’ve become used to a Polar watch (like I had) seems a little secondary in this. But it’s there, and it will do the things you want. Just don’t expect to stare at your HR on the watch while working out. But hey, Awesome!

This a cute fun video and one of my favorite blues clues videos. I’m a home daycare provider. Over the yrs I have collected over 100 kids videos. Blue’s Big Pajama Party seems to entertain my daycare kids ages 14 months to 5 yrs greatly. I also enjoy singing along to the tunes.

I do agree with the one reviewer who was bother by the a dream catcher part of the video. I think they should have at least say something on the box about this. Some people really don’t want their children to know about this new age teaching. But saying that I still would have bought this video for the other parts of the video.

I like that this video tries to help children understand that we all have bad dreams and that we can change are dreams if we think really hard.

Ordered Wii to exercise, we ar nearly 80. We got FIT games, enjoy bowling, golf, baseball. Thought it would include exercise series used by our daughter, but find we have to have balance board; unable to find balance board for purchase. Expensive, think the descriptions of games, accessories on AMAZON should be more complete. Find Wii still not completely available in stores. Would not buy again for our ages!

I was surprised that shipping was included in the price. Well, it was a small SD camera card and not much heavier than an piece of paper. It mailed in a 5″x7″ envelope.

Blue s Clues Back

My husband and I each ordered one of these and are happy.

ASSEMBLY There is some putting together that you have to do, but it’s fairly simple. Sorry, no more details there–I left that to the honey.

HEIGHT Even at its lowest seat setting, it seems a bit tall for me (I’m about 5′2 or 5′3), but that’s not the bike’s fault I guess.

GEARS It has lots of gears, which is helpful for going up and down hills. We both find that the gear changes are jerky and delayed.

SEAT The seat is not bad as far as bike seats go. My husband got a wider, cushier one at Target for $20 to replace the one it came with. I think I’ll stick to the one already on it.

GRIPS The handle grips are comfortable and also provide some grip, so your hands don’t slide around if they sweat.

HANDLEBAR The handlebar shape is great–you can sit up straight and ride it, which is why I got it (I have a bad back).

TREAD Tires have nice tread for a non-mountain bike.

ACCIDENT Incidentally, I took mine out for a spin a week ago without my husband (who keeps me going at a slower pace). As the speed demon I am, I was rolling downhill awfully fast when I saw that the sharp curve ahead would not be navigable at my speed, so I braked quickly. The breaks work–er, well. Perhaps too well–I skidded and fell, and am still bandaging my wounds (one of which is equivalent to a 2nd degree burn–ow!). But I am convinced this was “user error,” perhaps exacerbated by the fact the seat is a little too high for me. And while I have cuts and bruises in multiple places, the bike suffered only three very small scuffs. So it’s surely durable.

OVERALL IMPRESSION A great value, especially with Amazon’s free shipping.

This boxed set is 100% the best hands down. It contains the most classic and perfectly executed works from Mark Romanek, Jonathan Glazer, Anton Corbijn and Stephane Sednaoui. They each come with a flawlessly printed booklet detailing interviews and conceptual information pertaining to each video by the artists. The quality of the videos is superb and I can only hope that they will soon be available on Blu-ray format. I highly suggest this boxed set to anyone looking for inspiration or simply for a great watch.
