This steam cleaner is easy to use and does a great job! My 15 year old and 22 year old daughters have also used it. It’s quick to set up and I often run it without the cleaning solution and still have great results. This is a must have for anyone who has pets. My next goal is to learn to use the hand attachment to do stairs and furniture.
I have a Kirby too, but it is amazing the amount of dirt that it misses. Even the carpet shampoo attachment on that does not do as well as this cleaner.
I hate housework, but I love this SteamVac! A great price too, compared to what I have seen in the stores… It’s already paid for itself, as I was getting desperate about my rugs and wanting to rip them up. My 10 year old rugs have never looked so good!

Will not fit my 40 lb child. Maybe that is why, even with good inserts, she woke up soaked from head to toe. If your child is near the 40lb mark I would find something else to use. So I am using it on my 30 lb child and it seems to be doing the job with her weight. Washed good too.

There are have been an incredible amount of books written in recent years for young people, but even if you exclude the junk there are very few that can be called really great. Bruce Brooks’ “What Hearts” is one of these.
Brooks presents his basic themes, forgiveness (a rather unusual subject) and the meaning of love, with absolute sincerity. Asa’s feelings and problems are real. It doesn’t matter how different your life and problems may be from Asa’s; if you are sensitive to your own feelings, I think you will be able to identify with his.
This may sound a bit odd, but it’s also one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read. I might particularly cite, in the second chapter, Asa’s forgiveness and acceptance of his friend Joel. The end of this chapter is truly wonderful; all by itself, this would make the book a great one. Also the almost heartbreaking, though very beautiful, concluding chapter, one of the most sensitive and true descriptions of love (and, once again, forgiveness) that I know.
All in all it’s a masterpiece. Sure, hardly any book is absolutely flawless, and “What Hearts” is no exception. But the author’s remarkable perception, exquisite writing, and love for the human heart transcend any small faults you might find with the story. It is one of those rare books that really come from the heart.

I purchased the Garmin Forerunner 305 just last week and have had a chance to use it everyday this week. It is exactly what I expected and more. For starters, let me tell you I am a beginner so I can not verify that all of the data collected (pace, distance, hr) are accurate, but they seem pretty close to me. I jog around a lake and I did a google map point to point search and found the Garmin distance was within .2 miles of what Google maps told me. As stated earlier, I am not a beginner. My short term goal is to work my way up to running nonstop for half an hour and work my way up from there. I hope to accomplish this through interval training doing the run/walk method. Guess what?…. You can actually set the Garmin to beep after certain distances or time to let you know you are now in the next interval. I don’t even have to look at the watch… just wait for the beeps. Its incredible. The heart rate monitor seems pretty accurate. Sometimes, I will stop to check pulse and it seems like the Garmin is always within 5 beats of my physical check. Just make sure you have the strap on right side up. One day I had it on upside down and my numbers seemed a little skewed. I love the fact that I can customize what information needs to be displayed on each of the screens. Since I use the interval feature, the first screen will contain information about the lap…number and remaining time. The second screen, I have customized to include additional information about that lap, and the last screen has info about the overall total. I have a whole other screed which I don’t use! Overall, I think its a great product which will give you a wealth of information whether your the beginner or ultra marathoner.
The software that came with the unit is a bit limited. I really have not found a use for it and the map functionality could use an update. I subscribed to the GarminConnect site which was a little bit better but not the best. The good thing about it is you
