The item was as advertised & is a much needed alternative to the windshield suction mount. The only thing negative is that it took too long to arrive, about 6 days. This is the longest of any item I have ordered on Amazon. It works well & is just what I wanted.

I have had several pedometers in the past, but was never satisfied with their performance. A friend recommended the Omron HJ-112. It is the best pedometer I have ever used. It is easy to calibrate, read, operate and very accurate. I like using the clip on holder and safety clip when wearing the pedometer. It is also very handy to just stick in your pocket, too. I like that it gives you aerobic steps and total steps. i am very pleased and second my friend’s recommendation!

I purchased this to monitor my Heart Rate and Calories burned while taking indoor cycling classes or running on the treadmill.
The Calorie count was not accurate. Waited 3 days for a email from Garmin to explained. Finally called customer service and had to wait 30 minutes
to get a representative. After Garmin’s explanation, decided to return it back to AMAZON.

For me this all boiled down to price….we know the product is fine. When you can save $30 – $40 over the nearest competitor, pay NO tax and get free shipping to boot it is a no – brainer. The shipping was much faster than the stated period as well. Enjoy the no tax bit while it exists….Big Brother is surely gonna change this before long.

I am fortunate to know Fred…or so I thought. His soft Austrian accent adds so much to his saga. His ever present awkward gait that has been with him like so many memories I now understand. Always sincere, pensive and with an instrospective intensity he writes as he speaks. It’s not history retold from the ‘other side’s’ perspective that redefines ones attitude. It’s that one is reading what amounts to the diary of an Austrian German boy soldier in Hitler’s army whose purpose was the exact opposite of every Allied soldier who told their story. Thousands of ‘good soldiers’ spent horrible periods of time in battle, in hospitals, as prisoners in war camps, or sadly prisoners of their own minds and memories. Novotny’s only bitterness is aimed not at his military foes and blended with purposeful stealth into the late stage of his book. The unabashed honesty of Fred’s story is compelling and civilian as well as military. As a young waiter before being drafted he describes how he and several coworkers essentially steal some famous salami. They get found out, each slapped in the face and Novotny gets three weeks in the potato cellar. Like the rest of his story there is no faux remorse. He relates the salami saga because it says something about him; what that means he leaves to the reader. In a ‘dacha’ in Russia they find an American Gramophone and one 78rpm record. Schockingly it happens to be one of his favorites, “Stormy Weather”. This eventual American Austrian loved Harry James and Louis Armstrong. Describing how that left leg was wounded he mentions that there were 8 other bullets hitting his equipment including his helmet he didn’t get far enough into the hole he was digging. Many a ‘hero’have conjured up details of great bravery. Fred says, “Someone was looking out after me.” Honesty and heroism make strange bedfellows. The Good Soldier From
The nice thing about this book is that its full of humour and action, but not the standard knights in shining armor on a battlefield kind of action as it is with most fantasy books. While the latter is fun to read as well, it is nice to get a break from those epic type fantasies, and that is exactly what Artemis Fowl delivers, albiet in a more teen friendly way.
An interesting storyline combined with good humor and a very interesting main character makes this a great read for teens.
Beginning Keyboard
I just finished this book and I absolutely loved it…In fact, I enjoyed it so much, I’m having a difficult time understand why some readers didn’t like it at all (Well, to each his/her own….) I was completely drawn to every character and was impressed with Stockett’s writing style and voice. It takes a lot for a book to impress me, and Stockett sure did. I’m excited for the film version to come out. Thank you, Kathryn, for writing such a wonderful novel that kept my attention the whole way through! Please keep writing and following your dreams the way Skeeter did and congrats on creating a book of literary excellence for your debut novel! You have a big fan in NYC!
